About the artists:

Darren Solomon is a Clio and Cannes Gold Lion award-winning composer, producer, bassist and keyboard player, based in Brooklyn. He has composed music for hundreds of TV commercials, toured with Ray Charles and Barry Manilow, and created the collaborative music websites In B Flat 2.0 and marker/music. He is a partner and creative director at Quiet City Music + Sound and a visiting affiliate artist at SUNY Purchase. Darren likes throwing his hands in the air, but draws the line at waving them like he just don't care.

Mikal Amin is a master of the craft. A twenty year veteran of NYCs independent Hip-Hop movement, he has toured thirteen countries over ten years, as an artist, educator and ambassador, a published essayist and scholar, A 2-time Freestyle Mondays Game Show champion he is also the co-curator and producer of Brooklyn Academy of Music's Hip-Hop showcase WORD. Proof can be via the New York State Excelsior pass, a physical copy of the CDC card, a photo of your CDC card, or other electronic record of vaccination includes name and date (e.g., some chain pharmacies have an app with this information). In all cases the name must match that on your photo ID.
