Seena Ghaznavi (@seenanow) and Justin Williams hosts of Fraudsters the hit podcast from Spotify and the Last Podcast Network bring you a live show that will take you beyond the pod and bring you a multimedia party complete with the history of fraud, a highlight of a local scammer, and special guests!
Fraudsters is a show from the Spotify and the Last Podcast Network that deep dives into the most absurd cons of our time and the schemers behind them. Seena Ghaznavi (@seenanow) is a comedian, producer, with credits from Comedy Central, SiriusXM, and other movies and shows you probably never heard about. He’s also a lawyer who never bothered practicing because he likes just being in student loan debt. “It’s a great motivator to feel like you’ll never achieve anything unless you pay off your loans.” The genesis of the show started when Seena read an article that casually mentioned a scam where a company in the late 90s claimed they cured AIDS and their stock spiked 1200% (Uniprime). From there all he could see were absurd fraudsters and the slap on the wrist that they all got.
Justin Williams is a Newark based comedian that has credits from Comedy Central, SiriusXM, and a slew of festivals and clubs across the country. “I know the best drinks and bbq in every state capital in the US.” His 2017 album, “Mostly Woke” debuted as a best seller for comedy on Amazon. Justin has co-hosted with Seena for several years, doing live radio with him where they sparred with a variety of well-read long-haul truckers. If you want to send Justin an email, he will come to your house.
The El-Salomons are a married Jewish-Palestinian lesbian comedy couple who after years of performing solo decided to add yet another challenge to their relationship: A duo act! Jess Salomon (The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon) and Eman El-Husseini (Just for Laughs) met and fell in love at a comedy club in Montreal a decade ago. After just one year of performing together this hilarious couple recorded a comedy special at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival, now available in Canada on Crave TV.
